What Neuro covers
Autistic-led explainers on autism and neurodivergent life: what the research actually says, written for the people it describes — and for the parents, educators, builders and simply curious people around them. The essays lean on named, cited studies rather than vibes; where the evidence is thin or contested, the essay says so in its own body, the same honesty rule every tool on this site follows.
How the writing happens
The same person builds the tools and writes these essays, which is why the voice holds together: an essay is usually a tool's backstory, the thing the tool interface could not fit. Topics are chosen the same way — not by keyword opportunity, but by what building and using the tools surfaced and deserved a longer, slower form. Deliberate, slow publishing; thin pages get cleaned rather than padded.
Editorial rules in practice
- Named citations or an honest hedge. Claims point at their studies; contested areas are labeled contested in the piece.
- No therapeutic claims, no diagnosis talk. These are essays, not treatment — the same line the tools carry.
- First-person where it is true. The register is adult-to-adult; no condescension, no deficit framing, no inspiration-pet stories.
